If water is your passion, there are many watersports, fishing and sailing facilities on offer in Falmouth and at Mylor Harbour. Why not hire a traditional wooden sailing boat - with or without a skipper from Fal Wooden Boat Hire. The National Trust gardens of Trelissick and Glendurgan together with Trebah Garden are nearby with many more within 45 minutes drive, including Lanhydrock House at Bodmin and Trerice near Newquay. The world renowned Eden Project, the ‘eighth wonder of the world’ is a must see attraction during your visit to Cornwall along with the Lost Gardens of Heligan - both within easy reach. Just minutes away from the farm, you can access the Mineral Tramways Project which has developed the Portreath to Devoran (north coast to south coast) cycle path. Bissoe Cycle Hire is conveniently situated should you not have your own bikes. |
